About the Role
Lusapho Professional Services is currently supporting a leading engineering and project environment in the search for a Senior Civil / Geotechnical Engineer. We are looking for an experienced engineer with strong exposure to civil and geotechnical engineering within mining, infrastructure, industrial or EPCM project environments.
The successful candidate will support multidisciplinary engineering projects across geotechnical investigations, earthworks, foundations, slope stability, infrastructure and civil design support within complex project environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide civil and geotechnical engineering input across project phases
• Support geotechnical investigations, assessments and reporting
• Review and contribute to foundation, earthworks and ground engineering designs
• Support slope stability, ground risk and infrastructure-related studies
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across mining and industrial projects
• Contribute to feasibility studies, detailed design and project execution activities
• Provide technical support during construction and project implementation
Requirements
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Geotechnical engineering experience within mining, infrastructure or industrial projects
• Experience within consulting, EPCM or operational project environments
• Exposure to foundations, ground investigations, slope stability, earthworks or related geotechnical disciplines
• Professional registration advantageous
• Strong technical and communication skills
