About the Role

Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead and inspire the restaurant team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring service excellence, maximizing profitability, and maintaining compliance with company standards. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for creating a welcoming and high-performing restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Build a motivated, well-trained, and supportive team environment
• Conduct regular training and performance reviews
• Ensure health, hygiene, and professional standards are upheld
• Implement action plans to optimize restaurant delivery and exceed guest expectations
• Oversee restaurant administration including meetings, menu planning, costing, equipment control, bookings, and budgets
• Fulfil service requirements promptly and positively
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues effectively
• Apply HR policies and procedures diligently
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Matric (NQF Level 4)

  • Hospitality Management diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years restaurant management experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Sound knowledge of food, and beverage operations
