About the Role

Our client is currently recruiting for a Project Administrator with +10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or similar sector of the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Provide guidance and direction to less experienced administrators and other staff.
• May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others.
• Assist project team with day-to-day support of the project or site.
• Organize and expedite flow of work through project or site and initiates follow up action.
• Maintain knowledge of project status, scheduling requirements, and departmental operations/procedures.
• Assist with setup, development, and coordination of site-specific PMP and PIFs.
• Set up and maintain hard copy and electronic site file directories.
• Issue and approve access to shared project drives and websites.
• Ensures the correct functioning of facilities, office and/or business support services.
• Perform clerical, administrative, and general office duties including transcription, typing, and recording.
• Ensure reports and documents follow company and project standards and quality.
• Manage project specific forms and instructions.
• Coordinate, schedules, and prepare information for meetings and appointments.
• Assist field operations with completion of daily time sheets.
• Assist with onboarding/orientation of personnel.
• Assist with internal and external project audits.
• Arrange travel, accommodations, and car rentals.
• Prepare letters and memoranda for manager’s review.
• Gather data and material information to be billed.

Requirements

  • Five years of project/admin experience in the Engineering and Construction industry.

  • At least 10 years of project/admin experience.

  • Proficiency with MS Projects, MS Suite and Oracle.

  • Possess effective planning and organizational skills.

  • Must have valid driver's license

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
