
About the Role
Our client in the consulting environment is looking for a Professionally Registered Structural Engineer to ensure successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Lead conceptual and detailed design on complex structural engineering projects
• Deliver efficient design solutions using advanced software and hand calculations
• Ensure quality through technical reporting, QA, and compliance inspections
• Supervise and mentor engineers and graduates
• Review and take responsibility for the work of others
• Manage multiple projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery
• Allocate tasks and ensure effective team utilization
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and revenue recognition
• Draft and manage work authorisations and variation orders
• Coordinate with subconsultants and verify their invoices
• Assist with resource planning and departmental outsourcing
• Provide technical support across departments
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Present technical work and service offerings to clients
• Contribute to business development and marketing efforts
• Assist in preparing EOIs, RFQs, tenders, and proposals
• Identify leads and contribute to winning new work
• Develop understanding of technologies, markets, and commercial aspects
• Support project and departmental management as required
• Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business
Requirements
BSc. or BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
Must be Professionally Registered
Minimum 10 years professional experience in a EPCM environment
Minimum 2-3 years post professional registration
