About the Role

Our client in the Insurance sector is looking for Head of Marketing with 10 years’ experience in the insurance or financial sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Develop and Refine Brand Identity
• Create a brand plan and brand strategy, ensuring all aspects of the company and its associated companies’ marketing activities align with the ethos and goals of the brand
• Lead the development of strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, and other marketing vehicles
• Act as the company’s brand champion and expert while ensuring brand integrity in all respects by championing the brand internally, making sure all elements of the company understand the brand and its goals
Brand Positioning and Management
• Develop and maintain brand corporate identity
• Communicate our brand personality internally and align with the company around foundational ideas
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the commercial goals of the brand are met by helping to develop advertising and promotional programs
Customer Value Management
• Define and implement customer strategies and policies to deliver on strategic objectives and customer experience
• Define the customer value proposition and cascade through relevant products & services
• Drives business development initiatives to grow the company’s customer base by collaborating with business and the marketing team
Creative Design Studio Management
• Oversee overall creative designs (branding, user interface, web design, DTP and print media)
• Lead and direct the creative team output
Customer Insights
• Gather, review, and organise customer data and profiles into segments
• Manage and continuously improve on customer engagement metrics
• Ensure maximum customer engagement and best possible results of campaigns by dissecting campaign results to understand underlying behavioural patterns and to develop insights.
Team Management
• Staff performance monitoring, coaching and development
• Recruitment and selection of new members of the marketing team
• Ensuring staffing levels are maintained to complete all aspects of the customer strategy

Requirements

· Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar role within the insurance/financial services sector, 5 years at a Senior Management level

· NQF Level 8, Honours Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or Advertising.

· Knowledge of business policies, processes and procedures, legal compliance

· Strong project management skills

· Experience in leading change and transformation based on insights in operational unit

· Experience working with CRM system
