
About the Role
Our client in the energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure in Kimberley. This is a contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Oversee and manage all phases of electrical infrastructure construction and maintenance
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors or suppliers
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestones
• Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews
• Manage stakeholder communication, including reporting to project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements
• Control project costs and manage procurement related to the project scope
• Manage project documentation and progress reporting
Requirements
National Diploma in Project Management (or equivalent in Construction or Engineering)
Registered with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr. CPM)
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing construction projects
Experience with electrical infrastructure or public infrastructure projects
Proven ability to manage projects within similar budget scale and scope
Valid Code C1 Driver’s License
Willingness to travel or be based on site in Kimberley for the duration of the project
Strong project planning, leadership, and site management skills
