About the Role

Our client in the energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure in Kimberley. This is a contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Oversee and manage all phases of electrical infrastructure construction and maintenance
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors or suppliers
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestones
• Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews
• Manage stakeholder communication, including reporting to project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements
• Control project costs and manage procurement related to the project scope
• Manage project documentation and progress reporting

Requirements

  • National Diploma in Project Management (or equivalent in Construction or Engineering)

  • Registered with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr. CPM)

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing construction projects

  • Experience with electrical infrastructure or public infrastructure projects

  • Proven ability to manage projects within similar budget scale and scope

  • Valid Code C1 Driver’s License

  • Willingness to travel or be based on site in Kimberley for the duration of the project

  • Strong project planning, leadership, and site management skills
